THE ULTIMATE
CHESS CRUISE
Benjamin Blundercheck is island bound! Join us for a week of sea breeze and chess with fanataics from around the world!.
HOW THE WEEK WORKS
The $150 registration fee covers every event on this page. Boards, sets and clocks are provided — bring your own if you'd like.
MAIN TOURNAMENT
Six rounds of classical chess (G/75; d5) across three sea days, with a US Chess rated Open section and a casual section. With enough participants, sections may be broken down further to account for a wide range of skill levels.
US Chess rules are used for all games, rated and casual. Cash prizes are based on entries.
EVENING SIDE EVENTS
A series of six evening events: a casual chess mixer to open the week, followed by five official competitions.
Side event points accumulate throughout the week, and trophies are awarded to the top finishers in each section after the final side event.

WHAT WE ASK OF PLAYERS
Please arrive on time — preferably five minutes early — for every event. If you're late, your clock starts when the round begins and ticks down until you arrive and make your first move.
If you need to miss an event, let the organizer know before it begins so you aren't paired against an opponent who ends up waiting for no one.
