Membership covers every weekly tournament and every Club Challenge — plus member pricing on Blundercheck events outside the club. But read the green box first, because the most important thing on this page is what stays free no matter what.

Nobody ever pays to walk in the door and play chess. That is not a promotional period. That is the deal, permanently.
- ✓ Attending the club. Walk in any Monday, 5:30–9:30 PM. No charge, no catch.
- ✓ Casual play — every single week. Grab a board, grab an opponent, play as long as you like.
- ✓ Open group instruction. We work to keep most of our group classes free to attend. Anything with a fee says so up front on the card. See what's running →
- ✓ Your first tournament and Club Challenge. Try both on the house before you decide anything.

FAMILY PLAN
The first family member pays the regular rate. Every additional member in the same household gets a discount on the same plan — as many people as you like.

Example: a family of four on the annual plan pays $60 + $50 + $50 + $50 = $210 for the year, instead of $240.

Everything in the annual membership, plus free entry to every Blundercheck event $20 and under — and your name on the website as one of the people keeping this club running.
This is the tier for people who want the club to be bigger than it is right now.
Family rate: each additional household member is $10 off — $90 per year, or $40 per quarter. The free-entry benefit applies to each household member on the supporter tier too.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available to anyone who can't afford a membership. Fill out a short need request form — no judgment. Print it and bring it in, or pick up a copy at the sign-in table and fill it out there. Hand it to the club director at club night, or email a photo of it to the address on the form. He's the only one who sees it, and your membership starts the night you show up. Cost will never be the reason someone doesn't play chess here.

- Every membership runs from the date of purchase, not from the start of a calendar month, quarter or year.
- Monthly memberships are good for 31 days from the purchase date.
- Quarterly memberships are good for 90 days from the purchase date.
- Annual memberships are good for 365 days from the purchase date.
- Family plan pricing requires everyone to be in the same household and to start on the same day, so the whole family expires together.
- Club Supporter has its own family rate — $10 off for each additional household member, on either the annual or the quarterly rate.
- Memberships don't renew automatically. Nothing is ever charged to you without you choosing to pay it.
