Coming Late Summer 2026

A FEE STRUCTURE IS COMING

Blundercheck Chess Club (formerly HRCA) is growing up. Directed by Benjamin Blundercheck — frontman of Benjamin Blundercheck & The Poisoned Pawn — the club is expanding its programming to match its ambitions. To sustain prizes, instructional programming, and special events, we're building a simple, fair fee structure — coming late summer 2026.

Here's what will never change:

♟ Attending club and casual chess will always be free. Walk in any Monday. No charge. Full stop.
♟ All other activities will be extremely affordable. We're talking chess tournament prices, not concert tickets.
♟ Scholarships will be available. Cost will never be a barrier to participation. If you need help, just ask — no questions, no judgment.

Details will be announced as we approach summer. We're committed to making this as fair and transparent as possible.
