Coach Sorel has a long history of playing in and directing chess tournaments in the Hampton Roads area. He has coached with HRCA, Deer Park, and Blundercheck Chess Club and is dedicated to helping his students achieve their next levels of success with their chess skills. He is a US Chess Certified Coach and Tournament Director, and can handle varied levels of instruction from one-on-one sessions to group lessons.
Before you book
Coaches work independently. Lessons, payment and scheduling are arranged between you and the coach, not through the club. Parents of young players: see our drop-off policy for lessons held at the club.
