Blundercheck Chess Club’s Holiday Event will be Monday December 14, our final club meeting of the year. In lieu of our regular club challenge and weekly tournament, we will enjoy food, fun and a twisted holiday chess riot event format! There are 4 events throughout the evening, each giving players a chance to win BlunderCanes. Prizes to the most BlunderCanes at the end of the night!
Please bring a $10 or less gift for the Dirty Blitzen gift exchange! If you do not wish to participate in the gift exchange, we will have a non-gift blitz section alongside, which still earns BlunderCanes.
EVENING SCHEDULE (approximate times):
5:30 – 6:30: Prancer’s Puzzle Dash – Join in at any time.
6:30 – 7:30 – Dirty Blitzen Gift Exchange (steal gifts by winning blitz games- but they are still wrapped!)
7:30 – 8:30 – Snowmen vs Elves (Team chess with discussion on the giant chessboard)
8:30 – 9:30 – Frosty’s Freestyle (2 rounds of 15 minute Freestyle Chess)
9:30 – Awards
